Without Risk, Passion Can’t Exist

Why were you so passionate during that one night stand, or in those first few years of the relationship?  Being vulnerable is so risky.  Each of you took constant risks, hoping the other person would understand and love you anyways.

But now you know they’ll love you regardless of what you say or do.  But the passion isn’t there.

Only with risks can you reap the rewards of passion.  You have to push outside the comfort zone of the relationship.  Stretch.

You might argue that you risk losing him or her.  Really, you risk losing them to boredom.
